Placement and power

Place the clock on a stable, level surface away from edges, direct moisture and excessive heat. Use only the specified battery type and observe polarity markings. Remove exhausted batteries promptly and keep batteries and small parts away from children and pets.

Time setting and cleaning

Use the designated controls to set the time and alarm where applicable. Do not force hands, knobs or pendulum parts. Dust with a soft dry cloth; do not spray cleaner directly onto the dial or movement.

Storage and inspection

Remove batteries before long-term storage. Stop use if the housing, battery compartment, hands, cord or movement becomes damaged.
